Are you ready to start a youth podcasting program? We can help! Our Podcasting Innovcation for Youth program is a hands-on program that teaches young people how to plan, produce, and publish their own podcasts. Through storytelling, collaboration, and media production, participants build skills in communication, critical thinking, and professionalism. Youth gain real-world experience while exploring topics that matter to them, amplifying their voices, and leading with impact.
Participants in Podcasting Innovation for Youth will learn and develop the following skills:
🎙️ Podcast Planning & Story Development – Brainstorming ideas, creating episode outlines, and writing scripts
🗣️ Communication Skills – Speaking clearly, active listening, interviewing, and audience engagement
🤝 Teamwork & Collaboration – Working in production teams, sharing responsibilities, and giving/receiving feedback
🧠 Critical Thinking – Researching topics, organizing information, and crafting meaningful content
💻 Technical Skills – Using microphones, audio editing software, and podcast publishing tools
🎧 Media Literacy – Understanding the impact of media, analyzing content, and creating with purpose
🕴️ Professionalism – Meeting deadlines, managing projects, and presenting ideas with confidence
🌟 Creative Expression – Finding their voice, experimenting with sound, and telling compelling stories
These skills not only support youth in producing high-quality podcasts but also prepare them for future academic, creative, and career opportunities.
